Here's the "skinny."
We don't want you to subscribe to Forgotten CoastLine, doggone it!
After years of licking stamps
and stuffing envelopes we decided to give it all to you for free on this
website about a decade ago.
Recently, we have added cover to
cover versions of the paper so you can read the whole publication, and
look at the ads too.
That having been said, we know darn well that many of you would
prefer to have and to hold the "real thing."
Like us, most of you are of the
mature ilk and dearly love a "good read." There's nothing
quite like sitting on a relaxing porch swing with a glass of iced tea
and an entertaining publication. There's a certain smell and feel to a
"newspaper" that certainly can't be duplicated by a glass
monitor. We understand!
So, just for you folks, we will
continue licking and stuffing. It costs us about $55 a year to send out
the 12 issues, but we only ask you to send $40. Our great advertisers
pick up the rest of the tab for you.
